System Essentials

TruDIP Base:

Self-leveling, medium viscosity gel resin is specially formulated to adhere to the natural nail plate and absorb the correct ratio of TruDIP Acrylic Dip Powder.

TruDIP Activate:

Brush-on activator, formulated to work specifically with the TruDIP Base and TruDIP Acrylic Dip Powders to create long lasting and strong nails.

TruDIP Seal:

Air dry, self-leveling gel top coat that seals and protects the TruDIP nail enhancement, resulting in an even, glossy finish.

TruDIP Powders:

Formulated to work specifi cally with the TruDIP Acrylic Dip System. Powder is fi nely milled, which requires minimal fi ling, resulting in a strong, natural looking nail enhancement.  Available in 72 TruDIP colored acrylic dip powders as well as traditional French Pink, French White and Clear powders.


Accessories

EZ Bond:

Balances pH and eliminates moisture
from the nail in 3-5 seconds. Readies the natural nail plate for the TruDip Dip System Base.

Essential Oil Plus:

Smooth and soothe cuticles as the fi nishing step to your nail enhancement. Natural botanicals penetrate deep into the skin to keep cuticles hydrated and encourage healthy nail growth. Safe for artifi cial nails as it will not lift enhancements.


Preparation Procedures

Begin all nail services by having client wash their hands with soap and water. Technicians should also wash and sanitize prior to any service.

1. Gently push back the cuticle using the spoon end of the
EzFlow Pro Pusher

2. Remove the non-living tissue from the nail plate using the non living tissue remover end of the Pro Pusher

3. Remove the shine from the nail plate using a 180 grit Grey Fox Pro File by filing in one direction from cuticle to freeedge

4. Remove the fi ling dust from the nail plate using a clean,
dry EZ Wipe

5. Apply EZ Bond to the natural nail to cleanse and remove
moisture from the nail plate


French Manicure

1. Select desired shades of TruDIP French Acrylic Dip powders and pour into disposable dipping trays, using a separate tray for each shade

2. Starting at the pinky, apply one coat of TruDIP Base to the entire nail and carefully slide finger forward, into the TruDIP French White Acrylic Dip powder to create a crisp, clean smile line

3. Immediately dip entire finger into the TruDIP French Pink Acrylic Dip Powder or Clear Acrylic Dip Powder, tapping off excess powder from finger

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 on all remaining nails

5. Gently dust off excess powder with an EZ Wipe

 

6. Repeat the dipping process for a second coat, starting with the TruDIP Base, making sure your smile lines are crisp and clean

7. Using an EZ Wipe, remove any remaining excess powder from nail

8. Apply a generous amount of TruDIP Activate
to all ten nails

9. File and shape nails with a 180 grit Grey Fox Pro File and if needed, buff smooth

10. Remove the filing dust and any remaining excess powder from the nail with an EZ Wipe, making sure no dust particles are left on the nail

11. Re-apply a second coat of TruDIP Activate on all ten nails

12. Starting with one hand only, quickly apply one coat of the TruDIP Seal to all five fingers

NOTE: Do not pause between fingers

13. Immediately apply a second coat, slowly covering the entire nail plate, allowing to dry for 2 minutes

CAUTION: Do not over brush the second coat, limit three strokes per nail


14. Repeat steps 12 and 13 to the other hand

15. Finish with massaging one drop of Essential Oil Plus to the cuticles

16. Dispose of dipping trays along with used powder in waste receptacle


Colored Powder Application

One Color Natural Nail Overlay

1. Select desired shade of TruDIP Colored Acrylic Dip
powder and pour into disposable dipping tray

2. Starting at the pinky, apply one coat of TruDIP Base to the entire nail and carefully slide finger forward into the colored powder, making sure to cover the entire nail bed, tapping off excess powder from each finger

3. Repeat on all remaining nails

4. Gently dust off excess powder with an EZ Wipe

5. Repeat the dipping process for a second coat, starting with the TruDIP Base, making sure to evenly cover the entire nail plate

6. Using an EZ Wipe, remove any remaining excess
powder from nail

 

7. Apply a generous amount of TruDIP Activate to all
ten nails

8. File and shape nails with a 180 grit Grey Fox Pro File and if needed, buff smooth

9. Remove the filing dust and any remaining excess powder from the nail with an EZ Wipe, making sure no dust particles are left on the nail

all ten nails

Colored Powder Application

One Color Tip Overlay

Full Or Customized Tip Application

1. Size the tip that best fits the nail securely from nail groove to nail groove

2. If customizing tip, cut well to desired length

3. Using a 150 grit Grey Wolf Pro File, lightly blend the tip before applying it to the nail to prevent over filing on the natural nail

4. Sparingly apply Brush On Resin to the well of the tip
and gently rock the tip onto the nail form the free-edge pushing down toward the cuticle, eliminating
air pockets

5. Cut the tip to the desired length, using tip cutters

6. Using a 150 grit Grey Wolf Pro File, finish blending the tip to the natural nail (pre-thin the remainder of the tip for optimum pinching capability and to ensure proper adhesion of product

OPTIONAL: To eliminate demarcations for easier smile line application, graduate to a 180 grit Grey Fox File and then a Sand Shark II

 

Colored Acrylic Dip Powder Application

7. Select desired shade of TruDIP Colored Acrylic Dip
powder and pour into disposable dipping tray

8. Starting at the pinky, apply one coat of TruDIP Base to the entire nail and carefully slide finger forward into the colored powder, making sure to cover the entire nail bed, tapping off excess powder from each finger

9. Repeat on all remaining nails

10. Gently dust off excess powder with an EZ Wipe

11. Repeat the dipping process for a second coat, starting with the TruDIP Base, making sure to evenly cover the entire nail plate

12. Using an EZ Wipe, remove any remaining excess
powder from nail

13. Apply a generous amount of TruDIP Activate to
all ten nails

14. File and shape nails with a 180 grit Grey Fox Pro File and if needed, buff smooth

15. Remove the filing dust and any remaining excess powder from the nail with an EZ Wipe, making sure no dust particles are left on the nail

16. Re-apply a second coat of TruDIP Activate on all ten nails

17. Starting with one hand only, quickly apply one coat of the TruDIP Seal to all five fingers

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the shine from the nail surface using 100 grit White Tiger Pro File

2. Using the EzFlow Removal Wraps, or a cotton ball, saturate with EzFlow Artificial Nail Remover or acetone.

3. Wrap each nail and let soak for 10 minutes

4. After 10 minutes, remove the foil and with the cotton, press and remove the product off of the nail

NOTE: The product should have a gummy
consistency and should be removed easily

5. File and buff any remaining product

6. Finish with massaging one drop of Essential Oil Plusto the cuticles

 

 

 

 

TruDIP Acrylic Dip Powder is not sticking to the TruDIP Base

• Not enough TruDIP Base has been used

• Use a slightly thicker amount of TruDIP Base and
dip the fi nger into dip powder immediately

• Too much time has lapsed prior to dipping nail into
powder and the base has dried.

 

TruDIP brush is stiffening

• Make sure nail is completely free of all dust and
excess powder before applying liquid


• Wiping brush on clean paper towel before putting
back into bottle will help keep brush clean


• Soak damaged brush for 30 minutes in TruDIP Brush
Restore to dissolve powder residue or glue, leaving
brush soft and fl exible during applications

TruDIP Seal is not shiny

• Make sure all dust and powder is completely
removed from the nail surface before starting
TruDIP Seal application


• Apply both coats of TruDIP Seal to only one
hand at a time

 

 

Finished nail appears uneven

• If customer has sever ridges in their nails, apply one
coat of TruDIP Clear powder to the entire nail before
performing French or Color application


• For additional strength and to prevent over fi ling,
apply one coat of clear powder to seal in color
application before applying activator


• Make sure nails are properly fi led and buffed prior
to TruDIP Seal application
